Yogita Sonawane, a mother of two year old is suffering from Valvular Heart Disease. She has already approached Sri Satya Sai Institute of higher Medical Sciences, Anantapur, but they have advised her to seek the treatment elsewhere at the earliest as they have a large number of patients already waiting.

She needs a immediate surgery which is going to cost around 1.1 lakhs (approximately 2200 US dollars). Both Yogita and her husband make their living on daily wages and their financial conditions is not strong and can`t afford such a huge cost of treatment.

Udhayam had raised funds for Yogita`s heart surgery during the month of February. But, unfortunately, we were able to raise only 414.95 dollars against the need of 1.1 lakhs.

Meanwhile, we came to know from Pramod Koli (volunteer who proposed this project to Udhayam) that Yogita`s parents have given up the hope of raising funds and decided not to go with the surgery. We were deeply disturbed and we sincerely believe that with all your support and help, we can save one life. We have decided to take up this cause end-end and raise the required remaining amount within a month and save a life.
